In 2019, I moved to Normal, IL, to finish my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Illinois State University. Upon graduation, I secured a full-time job in the mental health and substance abuse field at a local non-profit organization. However, the world came to a sudden pause due to the pandemic in 2020, and I was forced to work from home, like most people.

As I adjusted to this new normal, I found myself with a lot of free time on my hands. I started experimenting with various hobbies, including bread making and kombucha brewing, but nothing seemed to satisfy my creative itch. It wasn't until my best friend took an online course on starting an e-commerce business that I found my inspiration. Witnessing her journey inspired me to pursue something similar, leading to the creation of my original business, Rebirth Jewelry. I began making and selling crystal jewelry online and quickly found success. During these challenging times, people were looking for things that made them feel good, and my jewelry provided just that.

After nine months of running my small jewelry business, I was able to leave my full-time job. Quitting my job was a significant relief, as working in the mental health and substance use field triggered past traumas. I was overjoyed to start my healing journey while putting my whole heart into creating art.

Though I love running my online business, I crave human interaction. Spending a majority of my time at home can be isolating, but I have my furry companion and live with my boyfriend. As much as I enjoy the online world, I also have a passion for learning and expanding my horizons in the jewelry industry. That's why I've decided to branch off and start Permanent Rebirth Jewelry, specializing in permanent jewelry like bracelets, necklaces, and anklets made with sterling silver and gold-filled. While still running my online business, I aim to connect with my community and share my passion for creating jewelry that speaks to people's souls.
